White took to social media to announce his decision, committing to the Tar Heels over the likes of Maryland, Florida, Michigan State, and NC State. The rising senior is rated as the No. 45 safety in the 2024 class and the No. 303 overall recruit. White, a native of Buford, Georgia, appeared in all 11 games for the Wolves in 2022, guiding them to an 11-1 record.
